Bill Hailey

My interest in Tai Chi and Chi Kung/Qi Gong began after joining classes held by David Radford in Enfield Middlesex. David sparked my particular interest in Qi Gong. Since those first lessons I have broadened my knowledge through study and practice and now enjoy passing on its benefits.

After moving to Surrey and wanting to carry on my Tai Chi training I spent a year with Sifu Akira Lim in Weybridge. I then was lucky to find John Elliot’s Ryber Tai Chi School in Staines. John’s impeccable credentials coupled with relaxed teaching methods suited me perfectly. I became an instructor at the school, teaching Tai Chi and Qi Gong. The Ryber Tai Chi School closed, and since then I have been teaching Tai Chi and Qi Gong for Falling Leaf Tai Chi at Shepperton Sports Centre in Manygate Lane, and Day Centres in Ashford, Walton on Thames and the community centre in Staines.
I work as a therapist for CREST (Cancer Information and Support Centre) to achieve body harmony through healing Qi Gong and Tai Chi.
Contact for CREST can be found in the Health section on our Links page.
My aim in teaching is that each person leaving the class will be relaxed and invigorated.
